The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCE70429 is a Dash 429 EPDM O-ring designed for static and dynamic sealing applications in plumbing, HVAC, and industrial fluid systems. It measures 5 inches inside diameter, 5.5 inches outside diameter, and 0.25 inches thick, with a round cross section. The compound is Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) with a Shore A hardness of 70, rated hard. EPDM delivers reliable sealing performance across a wide service temperature range of -65 degrees F to 300 degrees F, making it well suited for hot water and steam service lines where other elastomers degrade quickly.

This O-ring is used in residential and commercial applications involving hot water systems, steam lines, and phosphate ester type hydraulic fluids. It is also noted for excellent resistance to Skydrol fluids used in commercial aircraft hydraulic systems.
