The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCE70354 is a Dash 354 EPDM O-ring designed for static and dynamic sealing applications in plumbing, HVAC, and hydraulic systems. It measures 5.125 inches inside diameter, 5.5 inches outside diameter, and 0.1875 inches (3/16 inches) thick with a round cross-section profile. Molded from Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) compound with a Shore A hardness of 70, it maintains a reliable seal across a wide service temperature range of -65 degrees F to 300 degrees F. Sold in a package quantity of 10, this O-ring is installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and hydraulic system technicians.
This O-ring is well suited for hot water service, steam applications, and phosphate ester type hydraulic fluids. It also delivers excellent resistance to Skydrol fluids used in commercial aircraft hydraulic systems, making it a practical choice for aerospace ground support, industrial hydraulic circuits, and high-temperature plumbing assemblies. Its broad chemical and temperature compatibility makes it a versatile sealing solution across residential and commercial system types.
Compatible with hot water, steam, and phosphate ester type hydraulic fluid systems. Also recommended for applications involving Skydrol fluids in commercial aircraft hydraulic circuits. Designed as a Dash 354 standard-size O-ring for use in any groove or fitting engineered to that specification.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, HVAC technician, or hydraulic system technician following system-specific lockout and pressure-relief procedures before disassembly. Ensure the seating groove is clean and free of debris before installing the O-ring. Avoid twisting or rolling the O-ring during installation, as this can compromise the sealing surface. Verify chemical compatibility with all fluids present in the system before placing the O-ring into service.
