The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCE70125 is a Dash 125 EPDM O-ring designed for static and dynamic sealing applications in plumbing, HVAC, and industrial fluid systems. It measures 1.313 inches inside diameter, 1.500 inches outside diameter, and 0.094 inches thick, with a round cross section and a Shore A hardness of 70. The EPDM compound provides strong resistance to hot water, steam, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, making it a reliable choice for high-temperature service environments. Licensed tradespeople and maintenance technicians working on steam lines, hot water systems, or hydraulic assemblies will find this O-ring suited to demanding service conditions.
This O-ring is rated for a working temperature range of -65 degrees F to 300 degrees F, making it appropriate for residential and commercial hot water distribution systems, steam service, and phosphate ester type hydraulic circuits. The EPDM material also shows excellent resistance to Skydrol fluids used in commercial aircraft hydraulic systems. Each package contains 25 O-rings, allowing technicians to stock a useful quantity for routine maintenance or repair work. This part is not FDA approved and is not intended for food-contact or potable water applications unless otherwise verified.
Designed for use with hot water, steam, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluid systems. Compatible with Skydrol fluids used in commercial aircraft hydraulic systems. Not recommended for petroleum-based oils, fuels, or non-compatible solvents. Verify chemical compatibility before installation in any unlisted fluid service.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or hydraulic system mechanics. Shut off fluid supply and relieve system pressure completely before removing or installing any O-ring seal. Inspect the mating groove for burrs, corrosion, or damage before seating the O-ring. Do not use petroleum-based lubricants with EPDM; use a compatible water-based or silicone lubricant if lubrication is needed during installation.
