The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCE70049 is an EPDM O-ring with a round cross section, sized at 5 inches inside diameter, 5.125 inches outside diameter, and 0.0625 inches thick. This is a Dash 049 standard O-ring with a 70 durometer hardness rating. EPDM compound gives this seal strong resistance to hot water, steam, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, ozone, and a range of acids and alkalies. It is installed by plumbers, HVAC technicians, and hydraulic system technicians in applications where a reliable static or dynamic seal is needed at elevated temperatures or in chemically aggressive service environments.

This O-ring is suited for use in hot water systems, steam lines, phosphate ester-based hydraulic systems, and similar fluid handling applications. Installation Notes
