The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCE70020 is an EPDM O-ring with a round cross section, sized at 0.875 inches inside diameter and 1.000 inch outside diameter, with a wall thickness of 0.0625 inches. Dash number 020 identifies the standard AS568 size. The 70 Shore A hardness rating places it in the hard category, suited for sealing applications that demand dimensional stability under compression. Licensed trades including plumbers, HVAC technicians, and hydraulic system mechanics install this style of O-ring as a static or dynamic seal in fluid and steam systems. This part is sold in a package quantity of 50 rings.
This O-ring is designed for use in hot water, steam, and phosphate ester type hydraulic fluid systems. EPDM compound provides excellent resistance to Skydrol fluids used in commercial aircraft hydraulic systems, making it suitable for both industrial and aviation maintenance applications. The operating temperature range runs from -65 degrees F to 300 degrees F, supporting high-temperature steam service as well as cold-environment installations. It is appropriate for residential and commercial plumbing, HVAC hydronic systems, and industrial hydraulic circuits where phosphate ester compatibility is required.
Compatible with hot water, steam, and phosphate ester type hydraulic fluid systems. Also noted for excellent resistance to Skydrol fluids used in commercial aircraft hydraulic systems. Designed as an OEM-style replacement O-ring for any application requiring a Dash 020 EPDM round cross-section seal.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician following applicable plumbing, HVAC, or hydraulic system codes. Always depressurize and drain the system before replacing O-rings to prevent fluid release or injury. Lubricate the O-ring with a compatible fluid or grease before seating to avoid tearing during assembly. Do not use petroleum-based lubricants with EPDM compound, as they will degrade the material.
