Aflas is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and propylene, well suited for sealing applications involving aggressive fluids and high temperatures. This O-ring carries a Shore A hardness rating of 80 and is rated for service from 25 degrees F to 450 degrees F. It is commonly installed by HVAC technicians, plumbers, and refrigeration mechanics where a chemically resistant elastomeric seal is required in demanding fluid-handling or refrigeration systems.
