The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCA80009 is a Dash 009 Aflas O-ring designed for static and dynamic sealing applications across HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and industrial fluid systems. Manufactured from Aflas (a fluoroelastomer copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and propylene), this O-ring measures 0.219 inches inside diameter, 0.344 inches outside diameter, and 0.0625 inches thick with a round cross section. It carries an 80 Shore A durometer hardness rating, placing it in the hard range for firm sealing under pressure. The working temperature range spans 25 degrees F to 450 degrees F, making it suitable for high-temperature service environments. Licensed trades and industrial maintenance technicians use this part where chemical resistance and thermal stability are both required.
This O-ring is suited for use in refrigeration systems, hydraulic assemblies, fuel handling equipment, and chemical processing lines. Aflas material provides good resistance to a range of aggressive media including acetic acid, animal oils, bases, brake fluids, fuels, and hydraulic oil. It also delivers good ozone and weather resistance along with good compression set characteristics, making it a practical choice for sealing refrigeration fluids in HVAC and commercial refrigeration service. Sold in packages of 25 units, this O-ring is appropriate for service technicians who need to maintain stock for recurring seal replacements.
Compatible media include acetic acid, animal oils, bases, brake fluids, fuels, and hydraulic oil. Suitable for sealing refrigeration fluids. Designed as an OEM-style replacement O-ring for Dash 009 groove dimensions in refrigeration, hydraulic, fuel, and chemical fluid systems.
O-ring installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with the specific system being serviced. Always depressurize and isolate the system before removing any existing seals. Inspect the groove and mating surfaces for damage, burrs, or contamination before installing the new O-ring. Avoid using sharp tools during installation to prevent nicking or cutting the elastomer, which will cause premature seal failure.
