The VALUE COLLECTION ZBDMP9994-2 is a Dash 327 O-ring manufactured from Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) with a round cross section. It measures 1.75 inches inside diameter, 2.13 inches outside diameter, and 0.1875 inches thick. NBR compounds perform reliably across a wide range of petroleum-based fluids, hydraulic oils, and water, making this O-ring a standard choice for sealing applications in HVAC equipment, plumbing assemblies, and fluid-handling systems. The durometer rating of 70 Shore A places it in the hard hardness range, providing good extrusion resistance under moderate pressure. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and mechanical contractors install Dash 327 O-rings as static or dynamic seals in valves, fittings, pumps, and service ports.
This O-ring suits residential and light commercial mechanical systems where a Dash 327 NBR seal is specified. Common applications include valve stem seals, union connections, pump housings, and refrigerant service port caps in HVAC systems, as well as general plumbing and fluid-system fittings that call for a standard AN or SAE Dash 327 profile. The rated temperature range of -40 degrees F to 275 degrees F covers the majority of heating and cooling system operating conditions encountered in the field.
Designed as a standard Dash 327 O-ring replacement for any valve, fitting, pump, or mechanical assembly specifying a 1.75 inches ID by 2.13 inches OD by 0.1875 inches thick NBR seal.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or mechanical contractors during valve service, fitting repair, or pump overhaul. Always depressurize and isolate the system, and drain or recover any fluids before removing the existing O-ring. Inspect the groove for nicks or corrosion before seating the new ring, and apply a compatible lubricant to ease installation and prevent rolling. Follow applicable IPC or IFGC guidelines and equipment manufacturer instructions for torque and reassembly procedures.
