The VALUE COLLECTION ZBD9500-232 is a Dash 232 Viton O-ring designed for static and dynamic sealing applications in fluid and gas systems. Viton, a fluoroelastomer compound, provides excellent resistance to petroleum-based fluids, hydraulic oils, fuels, and a wide range of industrial chemicals. This O-ring measures 2.75 inches inside diameter with a 0.125-inch round cross section, placing it in a size range commonly used in mid-bore hydraulic fittings, valve bodies, pump housings, and plumbing connections. It is installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance mechanics wherever a reliable, high-temperature-rated seal is required.
This O-ring is suited for residential and commercial applications where elevated temperatures or chemical exposure would degrade standard nitrile or EPDM seals. Typical install scenarios include hydraulic system maintenance, HVAC refrigerant-side components, fuel-handling equipment, and industrial valve assemblies. The Dash 232 designation is a standard AS568 size, making this a direct-fit replacement in any application calling for a Dash 232 O-ring. Each package contains one O-ring, with a minimum order quantity of 5 units.
Designed as a standard AS568 Dash 232 O-ring replacement for any hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, or HVAC application specifying a 2.75-inch ID, 0.125-inch cross-section Viton seal.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with the host system — plumber, HVAC mechanic, or industrial maintenance professional as appropriate. Always depressurize and de-energize the system and drain any fluid before removing the old O-ring. Lightly lubricate the O-ring with a fluid compatible with both Viton and the system media before seating it in the groove; avoid petroleum-based greases unless confirmed compatible. Inspect the groove for nicks, burrs, or corrosion that could compromise the new seal.
