The VALUE COLLECTION ZBD9500-205 is a Dash 205 Viton O-ring with a round cross section, designed for static and dynamic sealing applications across a wide range of industrial, mechanical, and fluid-system assemblies. The ring measures 0.440 inches inside diameter, 0.690 inches outside diameter, and 0.125 inches thick. Viton (fluoroelastomer) construction delivers strong resistance to fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids, and many chemical media. With a Shore A hardness of 75 and a working temperature range of -15 degrees F to 400 degrees F, this O-ring is well suited for demanding service environments where standard nitrile or EPDM compounds fall short. Licensed tradespeople and maintenance technicians install this type of seal in hydraulic fittings, fluid connectors, and equipment service ports.
This O-ring is used in residential and commercial applications wherever a Dash 205 size seal is required. Typical install scenarios include hydraulic line fittings, fuel system connections, pneumatic assemblies, and general mechanical face-seal or radial-seal grooves sized for the Dash 205 standard. The Viton material makes it a preferred choice in high-temperature environments such as engine bays, HVAC refrigerant service fittings, and chemical-handling equipment. It is sold individually but carries a minimum order quantity of 25 units, making it appropriate for shop stock and fleet maintenance programs.
Designed as a standard Dash 205 O-ring replacement for any groove or fitting specified to accept a 0.440-inch ID, 0.690-inch OD, 0.125-inch cross-section seal in Viton material.
O-ring replacement is typically performed by licensed mechanics, plumbers, HVAC technicians, or hydraulic system technicians. Always depressurize and de-energize the system and relieve all fluid pressure before removing any fitting or connector. Clean the groove thoroughly and inspect for wear or damage before seating the new O-ring. Lubricate the ring with a compatible grease or fluid prior to installation to prevent twisting and ensure even seating — do not use lubricants incompatible with Viton compound.
