The VALUE COLLECTION ZBD16300-1 is a nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) O-ring with a round cross section rated at 90 Shore A hardness, placing it in the extra-hard category. NBR compound delivers reliable resistance to petroleum-based fluids, hydraulic oils, and common industrial lubricants. With a working temperature range of -40 degrees F to 275 degrees F, this O-ring performs across a wide range of service conditions. Plumbers, hydraulic system technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals install this type of seal in static and low-cycle dynamic applications where a firm, fluid-resistant seal is required.
This O-ring is suited for use in plumbing, hydraulic, pneumatic, and general industrial fluid-handling assemblies. The extra-hard 90 Shore A durometer is appropriate for higher-pressure static sealing applications where extrusion resistance is a priority. It is not FDA approved, making it best suited for industrial and mechanical use rather than food-processing or potable-water contact applications. Minimum order quantity is 25 units, sold individually per package.
Designed as a standard NBR O-ring replacement for industrial, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing applications requiring a round cross-section seal in extra-hard durometer.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers, hydraulic technicians, or industrial maintenance personnel. Always depressurize and de-energize the system before removing or installing O-rings. Lubricate the O-ring with a compatible fluid prior to installation to prevent tearing during assembly. Verify groove dimensions match the O-ring cross section before installation to ensure a proper seal.
