The VALUE COLLECTION XNB08100 is a Schedule 80 black steel pipe nipple rated for demanding plumbing, industrial, and mechanical piping applications. It measures 1-1/2 inches in diameter and 10 inches in length, constructed seamlessly and welded for uniform wall thickness and consistent pressure ratings across the full length. The black finish is an iron oxide coating applied during manufacturing. At 2.87 pounds, this nipple meets ASTM A106 and ASTM A53 material standards along with ANSI B1.20.1 and ASME B1.20.1 thread standards. It is lead-free, making it suitable for potable water and high-purity fluid systems where lead-free compliance is required by code.

This nipple is a standard close-cut threaded fitting used in residential and commercial plumbing, steam systems, gas distribution, fire suppression, and mechanical piping. Installation Notes
