The VALUE COLLECTION WS-MH-SLNG1-296 is a 2-ply web sling rated for a 3.2-ton vertical capacity and a 5,000-pound choker capacity. At 14 feet long and 2 inches wide, it is built for overhead lifting and rigging operations in industrial, construction, and warehouse environments. The double-ply webbing construction distributes load stress across the width of the sling, supporting safe and stable lifts. Licensed riggers and material handling professionals install and use this sling as part of standard below-the-hook rigging setups. The sling weighs 4.17 pounds and is sized for a wide range of lifting applications where synthetic web slings are specified.
This web sling is suited for vertical hitch, choker hitch, and basket hitch rigging configurations depending on the rated capacity for each hitch type. It is commonly used in manufacturing facilities, steel service centers, shipyards, and construction sites where controlled lifting of equipment, structural components, and fabricated parts is required. The 14-foot length provides working clearance for lifts where the load requires standoff from the hook or crane block. Rigging professionals select 2-ply web slings when load surface protection and flexibility are priorities over wire rope or chain alternatives.
Designed as a standard synthetic web sling for use with compatible overhead lifting hooks, shackles, and crane rigging hardware rated at or above the sling working load limit.
Web slings must be installed and used by qualified riggers following ASME B30.9 standards for below-the-hook lifting devices. Inspect the sling before each use for cuts, abrasion, UV degradation, or chemical damage, and remove it from service if any defect is found. Never exceed the rated working load limit for the hitch configuration in use. Protect the sling from sharp edges on the load using edge guards or softeners as required.
