The VALUE COLLECTION W57282PS is a 6-32 x 1/4-inch overall length flat head Phillips machine screw manufactured from Grade 316 stainless steel with a bright, uncoated finish. The flat head profile sits flush with the mating surface when fully driven, making it well suited for applications where a smooth, low-profile face is required. The 6-32 UNC thread form is a common unified coarse thread standard used across a wide range of light-duty mechanical and electrical assembly work. Grade 316 stainless steel provides corrosion resistance in demanding environments, including exposure to moisture, chemicals, and marine conditions. This screw is sold in a minimum order quantity of 100 units per package.
This screw is used in light mechanical assembly, electrical panel work, enclosure fabrication, and equipment maintenance across HVAC, electrical, and general trade applications. The flat head Phillips drive is compatible with standard Phillips screwdrivers and power bits. The 1/4-inch overall length and 1/4-inch length under head make it appropriate for thin material fastening where thread engagement depth is limited. The bright, uncoated finish maintains the natural corrosion resistance of the 316 stainless substrate without added plating.
Designed for use in any application requiring a 6-32 UNC tapped hole with a flat head Phillips fastener, including electrical enclosures, control panels, equipment frames, and general sheet metal or light structural assembly.
Install using a standard Phillips screwdriver or power driver with the appropriate bit size to avoid cam-out and head damage. Ensure the mating hole is tapped to 6-32 UNC specifications before driving the screw. When installing in stainless-to-stainless assemblies, apply an appropriate anti-galling compound to reduce the risk of thread seizing. De-energize any electrical panel or equipment before fastening hardware in live enclosures, following applicable NEC guidelines.
