The VALUE COLLECTION VW4021PS is a No. 2 screw internal tooth lock washer made from Grade 410 stainless steel. It is designed to resist loosening caused by vibration by biting into both the fastener bearing surface and the mating part when torque is applied. The internal tooth configuration keeps the washer centered on the fastener shank, making it well suited for applications where external tooth washers would be visible or obstruct adjacent components. With an inside diameter of 0.095 inches and an outside diameter of 0.2 inches, this is a small-format washer used in tight assemblies across mechanical, electrical, and light structural applications.
This washer is used in residential and commercial applications wherever a No. 2 screw requires positive locking without adhesive threadlockers. Typical install scenarios include panel assemblies, electrical enclosure hardware, small-gauge sheet metal fastening, and instrument mounting. Grade 410 stainless steel provides corrosion resistance suitable for indoor environments and mild outdoor exposure. Electricians, HVAC technicians, and mechanical assemblers commonly use internal tooth lock washers of this size when securing terminal screws, grounding hardware, or control panel components.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard hardware component for No. 2 screw applications requiring an internal tooth lock washer in stainless steel.
Installation requires no special tools beyond the fastener driver appropriate for the No. 2 screw being used. De-energize any electrical panel or assembly before servicing fasteners in live enclosures. Place the washer flat against the mating surface with the teeth facing the fastener head or nut, not the workpiece, to allow proper bite on tightening. Follow applicable NEC or equipment manufacturer guidelines when using lock washers in electrical assemblies.
