The construction combines a seamless, uniform FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene) Teflon outer encapsulation with a core of Viton elastomer. This dual-material design delivers the chemical resistance of solid PTFE alongside the elasticity and recovery properties of a standard elastomeric O-ring.
