It features a seamless, uniform FEP-Teflon encapsulation that completely encloses a silicone elastomer core, combining the chemical and temperature resistance of solid PTFE with the elasticity and recovery properties of silicone. The round cross-section measures 0.125 inches thick, with an inside diameter of 1.313 inches and an outside diameter of 1.563 inches. It is rated to a hardness of 70 Shore and carries a hard hardness rating.
