The VALUE COLLECTION TES70019 is a Dash 019 PTFE-encapsulated silicone o-ring designed for fluid sealing applications across a wide range of industrial and mechanical systems. The ring features a round cross-section with a 13/16-inch inner diameter, a 15/16-inch outer diameter, and a 1/16-inch wall thickness. A seamless, uniform FEP-Teflon encapsulation fully encloses a silicone elastomer core. This construction combines the chemical and temperature resistance of solid PTFE with the elasticity and compression recovery of silicone. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and mechanical trades use o-rings of this type for static and low-motion sealing on fittings, valves, and equipment ports.
This o-ring is suited for applications requiring broad chemical compatibility and a wide service temperature range of -75 degrees F to 400 degrees F. The encapsulated design makes it appropriate for use with aggressive media that would degrade a standard silicone or EPDM ring. It is commonly installed in HVAC refrigerant circuits, plumbing valve assemblies, chemical handling equipment, and food-processing or pharmaceutical-adjacent piping where resistance to corrosive fluids is essential but solid PTFE lacks sufficient elasticity for a reliable static seal.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement o-ring for any application specifying a Dash 019 PTFE-encapsulated silicone ring with a 13/16-inch inner diameter, 15/16-inch outer diameter, and 1/16-inch thickness.
Installation should be performed by a qualified trade professional with the system fully depressurized and isolated before removing the old seal. Inspect the o-ring groove for nicks, burrs, or corrosion before seating the new ring. Do not use petroleum-based lubricants on PTFE-encapsulated rings; use only a compatible fluid or PTFE-safe lubricant if assembly requires it. Follow applicable codes such as the IPC or IFGC for piping system pressure testing after seal replacement.
