The VALUE COLLECTION TC18-2 is a slide machining table designed for use with drill presses, milling machines, and similar stationary machine tools. It provides controlled two-axis workpiece movement through a cross-slide and longitudinal-slide mechanism, allowing precise positioning during drilling, boring, and light milling operations. The table measures 6 inches wide by 19 inches long with an overall height of 5 inches. Longitudinal travel is 11 inches and cross travel is 7.5 inches. Two 9/16-inch longitudinal T-slots allow standard T-bolts and clamps to secure workpieces or vises directly to the table surface. At 56 pounds, the unit provides a stable work platform suitable for shop use.
The TC18-2 is suited for machine shop and fabrication environments where a benchtop drill press or vertical milling machine requires added workpiece positioning capability. It is commonly installed by machinists and tool-and-die professionals upgrading a basic drill press to allow X-Y table movement without repositioning the workpiece by hand. The base footprint of 10.5 inches in length by 8 inches in width fits standard benchtop and floor-standing drill press tables in typical shop configurations.
Designed as a general-purpose slide machining table for use with benchtop and floor-standing drill presses and light-duty vertical milling machines that accept a bolt-on X-Y positioning table.
Installation is typically performed by a machinist or experienced shop technician. Power down and lock out the machine before mounting or adjusting the table. Verify that the host machine table or base can support the added weight of 56 pounds before securing. Fasten the base using appropriately sized hardware to match the host machine mounting pattern and confirm that T-slot clamps are fully torqued before running the spindle.
