The VALUE COLLECTION ST0130060 is a high-speed steel (HSS) chucking reamer designed to finish-size drilled or bored holes to precise tolerances. With a 15/16 inch (0.9375 inch) diameter and 8 straight flutes, it delivers smooth, accurate bore finishing in metalworking and machining operations. The Morse taper shank fits directly into compatible lathe tailstocks and drill press spindles equipped with a 3MT socket. Overall length is 10 inches, with a flute length of 2-5/8 inches. The bright, uncoated finish is standard for general-purpose HSS reamers used across a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
This chucking reamer is suited for use in machine shop environments, maintenance and repair operations, and production settings where hole finishing to close tolerance is required. It is typically mounted in a lathe tailstock, drill press, or milling machine spindle with a 3MT adapter. Right-hand cutting direction makes it compatible with standard machine rotation. Machinists, tool-and-die makers, and maintenance mechanics install this type of reamer when a drilled hole must be brought to a final finished size with consistent surface finish.
Designed as a general-purpose chucking reamer for use in any machine spindle or tailstock equipped with a No. 3 Morse taper (3MT) socket.
Installation is performed by a machinist or qualified maintenance mechanic. Power down and lock out the machine before mounting or removing the reamer from the spindle. Seat the Morse taper shank fully into the tailstock or spindle socket before engaging the machine. Use appropriate cutting fluid for the workpiece material to extend tool life and improve surface finish.
