The VALUE COLLECTION SS-PH-H6-MN4 is a 316 stainless steel pipe hose connector designed to join hose barb lines to male NPT threaded ports. Built for high-pressure fluid and gas transfer applications, this fitting handles up to 7,200 psi and measures 1.73 inches in overall length. The barb end grips flexible hose securely while the male NPT end threads directly into a female-threaded port or valve body. At 0.25 pounds, it is compact and straightforward to install. The 316 stainless steel construction resists corrosion in aggressive media, making it suitable for demanding industrial and process environments where standard carbon steel fittings would degrade.
This connector is used in piping systems that require a transition from flexible hose to rigid threaded pipe. Typical applications include process piping, fluid transfer lines, hydraulic systems, and instrumentation connections in industrial facilities. The 3/8-inch barb by 1/4-inch MNPT configuration is common in smaller-diameter service lines where space is limited and a secure, leak-resistant connection is required. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians are the primary installers in commercial and industrial settings.
Designed as a standard hose-to-pipe transition fitting for 3/8-inch hose barb and 1/4-inch female NPT threaded port connections in high-pressure industrial and process piping systems.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter or plumber in accordance with ANSI B 31.1 and applicable local codes. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before removing any existing fitting or making new connections. Apply appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to the MNPT threads before assembly to ensure a leak-free joint. Do not over-torque the threaded connection, as stainless steel threads are susceptible to galling.
