The VALUE COLLECTION SS-ME-FT12-MN12 is a stainless steel compression tube male elbow fitting designed to connect tubing to a male NPT-threaded port at a 90-degree angle. Built from 316-grade stainless steel, this fitting accepts 3/4 inch tube outside diameter on the compression end and transitions to a 3/4 inch male NPT thread on the opposite end. The overall length is 1.57 inches. It meets multiple ASTM and DIN material and dimensional standards, making it suitable for demanding fluid and gas handling applications. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians typically specify and install this type of fitting in process, industrial, and commercial mechanical systems.
This fitting is used in applications where stainless steel corrosion resistance is required, such as chemical process lines, high-purity fluid systems, hydraulic instrumentation lines, and commercial HVAC refrigerant or fluid circuits. The compression end eliminates the need for soldering or welding at the tube connection point, making it practical for field installations and maintenance work where open-flame operations are restricted or impractical. It is equally suited to new construction and retrofit applications.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for systems requiring a 3/4 inch OD tube to 3/4 inch male NPT threaded connection in stainless steel. The Swagelok equivalent reference part number is SS-1210-2-12.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or qualified instrumentation technician in accordance with applicable IPC or process piping codes. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before disassembling any existing fittings or making new connections. Ensure the tube end is cut square, deburred, and fully bottomed in the compression fitting body before tightening the nut. Do not over-tighten the compression nut, as stainless fittings require controlled assembly to avoid galling the ferrule or threads.
