The VALUE COLLECTION SEW7X0200-200BX is an M2 external tooth lock washer engineered to resist fastener loosening under vibration and dynamic loading. Stamped from Grade 18-8 austenitic stainless steel to the A2 material classification, it delivers solid corrosion resistance without a coating. The washer seats between the fastener head and the mating surface, where its serrated outer teeth bite into both surfaces to maintain clamp load. With a 2.2mm inside diameter, 4.5mm outside diameter, and 0.3mm thickness, it is sized specifically for M2 screw applications. Licensed trades and assembly technicians working in corrosive or high-humidity environments commonly specify this grade for its combination of strength and oxidation resistance.
This washer is used in light fastening applications where an M2 screw is the primary fastener. Typical installation environments include small-frame electrical enclosures, electronic assemblies, instrumentation panels, and precision mechanical components. The external tooth profile provides greater locking surface area than internal tooth designs, making it well suited for thin sheet metal and close-tolerance assemblies. The uncoated stainless finish is appropriate where surface conductivity or chemical compatibility with coatings is a concern. This item is sold as a minimum order quantity of 200 pieces per package, suitable for shop stock or recurring maintenance inventory.
Designed as a standard external tooth lock washer for use with M2 screws across light mechanical and electrical assembly applications.
Installation is typically performed by assembly technicians, electricians, or mechanical service personnel using standard hand tools or torque drivers. Place the washer on the fastener shank with the teeth facing the mating surface before seating the fastener head. De-energize any electrical assembly and follow applicable NEC guidelines before installing hardware in live panels. Do not reuse lock washers that have been fully compressed, as the tooth engagement and spring action will be diminished.
