The VALUE COLLECTION SC50100D4 is a single-end, straight-cylindrical-shank countersink designed for countersinking and deburring operations in metal fabrication and machining applications. Built from high-speed steel (HSS) with a bright, uncoated finish, it delivers reliable cutting performance without the added cost of a coating. The tool features a 100-degree included angle (50-degree centerline angle) and a 0-flute design, making it well suited for producing clean, chatter-free countersunk seats. The 1/2-inch shank diameter fits standard drill chucks and collet holders commonly found in machine shop and production environments.
This countersink is used in metalworking and light fabrication shops for preparing fastener seats, deburring drilled holes, and chamfering hole edges. It handles a minimum cutting diameter of 9/16 inches and a maximum cutting diameter of 1-1/16 inches, covering a practical range for common fastener sizes. Right-hand cutting direction means it runs with standard spindle rotation on drill presses, CNC mills, and handheld power drills. The single-end design keeps the tool compact and easy to index.
Designed as a general-purpose countersink compatible with standard 1/2-inch drill chucks, collet holders, and quick-change tooling systems used on drill presses, milling machines, and handheld power drills.
Installation is performed by machinists, toolmakers, or trained shop personnel. Secure the shank firmly in a properly sized chuck or collet before running the spindle. Apply light, consistent feed pressure to avoid chatter and workpiece damage. Always bring the spindle to a full stop before adjusting or removing the tool.
