The VALUE COLLECTION SC2060200 is a single-end, 6-flute countersink designed for right-hand cutting in a wide range of metalworking and fabrication applications. Built from high-speed steel with a bright, uncoated finish, it features a 60-degree included angle and a 1-inch straight cylindrical shank. The 2-inch head diameter and 2.125-inch shank length make it suited for bench-top drill press work and CNC setups alike. No pilot is included, and the tool does not countersink head only — it operates as a full countersink. Machinists, tool-and-die workers, and general fabricators will find this tool appropriate for deburring, chamfering, and countersink seat preparation in mild steel, aluminum, and similar materials.
This countersink is used in machine shops, fabrication facilities, and maintenance departments where consistent, clean countersink geometry is required. The 60-degree included angle is common in aerospace-style fastener applications and general metalwork where a shallower seat angle is specified. The straight cylindrical shank seats directly into standard drill chucks or collet systems without adapters. It is appropriate for both manual and machine-feed drilling operations where a controlled, repeatable countersink depth is needed.
Designed for use in standard drill chucks and collet systems that accept a 1-inch straight cylindrical shank. Suitable for countersinking operations on mild steel, aluminum, and similar workpiece materials where a 60-degree seat angle is specified.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists or toolroom personnel familiar with cutting tool setup and safe machine operation. Secure the shank fully in the chuck or collet before powering the machine, and confirm the workpiece is firmly clamped. Use appropriate cutting fluid for the workpiece material to extend tool life and improve surface finish. Inspect the cutting edges for wear or chipping before each use and replace the tool if damage is observed.
