With a 2-5/16 inch (2.3125 inch decimal) drill bit diameter and a 5MT shank taper designation, this tool mounts directly into compatible Morse taper spindles on drill presses and milling machines. The 4-flute design provides improved hole finish and greater chip clearance compared to standard twist drills. An oxide coating adds surface hardness and helps resist heat buildup during cutting.
