The VALUE COLLECTION SC0840108 is a high-speed steel Morse taper core drill designed for enlarging existing holes in metal and other materials. It accepts a 4MT shank for positive registration in compatible drill press and machining spindles. The 1-1/8 inch cutting diameter and four-flute geometry deliver smooth chip evacuation and consistent hole geometry. An oxide coating reduces friction and helps extend cutting edge life under production-rate use. With an overall length of 12-3/4 inches and a 7-1/2 inch flute length, this tool is suited for deep-reach applications in machine shops and fabrication environments.

This core drill fits standard machining and drilling applications where an existing pilot hole or cored hole must be brought to a precise 1-1/8 inch finished diameter. It is commonly used in metal fabrication shops, maintenance and repair operations, and general machine-shop environments. The right-hand cut and right-hand spiral are the standard orientation for conventional drilling on vertical and horizontal drill presses or milling machines equipped with a No. 4 Morse taper spindle or adapter sleeve.
