The VALUE COLLECTION SC00222760 is a 3-inch ceramic straight disc brush designed for aggressive surface conditioning, deburring, and cleaning on metal, composite, and other hard materials. The ceramic abrasive grain delivers consistent cut and durability across heavy-duty grinding and blending applications. At 50 grit, this brush removes scale, weld spatter, and surface oxides efficiently without loading. A 1/4-20 threaded arbor hole provides a secure, vibration-resistant connection to compatible angle grinders and die grinders, with a rated maximum speed of 15,000 RPM. Trim length is 0.63 inches. Fabricators, welders, and maintenance technicians are the primary users.
This disc brush is suited for use in metal fabrication shops, manufacturing facilities, and maintenance environments where consistent surface preparation is required. It handles deburring of cut edges, rust and scale removal, and weld blending on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The straight filament configuration concentrates abrasive action at the face of the brush, making it effective on flat or slightly contoured workpieces. The green ceramic filaments are visible and easy to inspect for wear during use.
Designed for use with grinders and rotary tools equipped with a 1/4-20 threaded spindle or compatible arbor adapters. Verify tool spindle thread size before mounting.
Installation should be performed by qualified machinists, fabricators, or maintenance technicians familiar with abrasive tool safety. Power down and disconnect the grinder from its power source before mounting or removing the brush. Thread the arbor hole fully onto the spindle and confirm the brush is seated securely before operation. Always verify that the tool RPM rating does not exceed the 15,000 RPM maximum stamped on the brush, and use appropriate eye and face protection during operation per ANSI B11 and OSHA abrasive tool standards.
