The VALUE COLLECTION RNYBL22-6 is a partially insulated circular ring terminal designed for crimp-style wire terminations on 4 AWG copper conductors. The terminal body measures 1.791 inches long and 0.65 inches wide, with a copper contact and a yellow nylon insulation sleeve. The ring opening accepts a 1/4-inch stud (6.40 mm). Material thickness is 0.067 inches. This terminal is used by electricians and low-voltage technicians to create secure, vibration-resistant lug connections at grounding points, bus bars, and equipment terminals.
This ring terminal is suited for residential and commercial electrical wiring applications where a 4 AWG conductor must be terminated at a stud-mount connection. Typical installations include grounding conductors, battery cables, panel bus connections, and equipment bonding points. The yellow nylon partial insulation sleeve protects the wire barrel while leaving the ring exposed for stud fastening, reducing the risk of contact with adjacent conductors during installation.
Designed for crimp termination of 4 AWG (22.00 sq mm) conductors at 1/4-inch stud fasteners. Suitable as a standard replacement ring terminal in electrical, grounding, and bonding applications requiring UL-listed components.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with NEC requirements for conductor terminations. De-energize and lock out the circuit before installing or removing any terminal lugs. Use a calibrated ratchet crimp tool rated for the appropriate wire gauge and terminal style to achieve a proper cold-weld crimp. Do not over-crimp or use uncalibrated tools, as this can damage the nylon sleeve or deform the copper barrel.
