The VALUE COLLECTION RNB70-6 is a non-insulated copper ring terminal designed for crimp connections on 2/0 AWG wire. It provides a secure, low-resistance mechanical and electrical connection between heavy-gauge conductors and threaded stud terminations. The terminal measures 1.969 inches in overall length and 0.945 inches in ring width, with a material thickness of 0.079 inches. The copper contact construction ensures reliable conductivity in high-current applications. Electricians and electrical maintenance technicians install these terminals in panel wiring, battery banks, grounding assemblies, and heavy equipment power circuits where a permanent, uninsulated lug connection is required.
This ring terminal is suited for use in residential, commercial, and industrial electrical installations wherever 2/0 AWG conductors require a terminated ring lug. The 1/4 inch stud size accommodates standard bus bar posts, battery terminals, and equipment ground studs. Typical applications include switchgear wiring, inverter and battery connections, motor circuits, and grounding electrode conductor terminations. Its non-insulated design allows for post-crimp inspection of the conductor and is compatible with standard heat shrink or tape overwrap where additional insulation is required.
Designed as a crimp-style ring terminal for 2/0 AWG conductors with a 1/4 inch stud size, suitable for use wherever a non-insulated copper lug terminal of this gauge and stud specification is required.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating any conductors. Use a calibrated ratcheting crimp tool rated for 2/0 AWG non-insulated terminals to ensure a proper mechanical crimp. Inspect the crimped barrel for full conductor insertion and uniform compression before torquing the terminal to the stud.
