The VALUE COLLECTION RNB14-5 is a non-insulated circular ring terminal designed for crimp connections on 6 AWG copper conductors. It provides a secure, low-resistance electrical connection between a wire and a threaded stud or screw terminal. The contact is made from copper, which offers reliable conductivity in panel wiring, grounding runs, and equipment termination work. At 1.15 inches in overall length and 0.472 inches in ring width, it is sized for a No. 10 stud. Electricians and panel technicians install this terminal using a ratcheting crimp tool sized for the appropriate die. It meets CSA, UL, cUL, and RoHS standards, making it suitable for commercial and residential electrical installations.
This ring terminal is used in residential and commercial electrical work wherever a 6 AWG wire must be fastened to a No. 10 stud or screw lug. Common applications include grounding conductors, equipment bonding, panel bus connections, and motor terminal blocks. Its non-insulated barrel allows visual inspection of the crimp and accommodates installations where a heat-shrink or separate sleeve insulation is applied after termination. This terminal is appropriate for use by licensed electricians and experienced electrical technicians working under NEC guidelines.
Designed for use with 6 AWG copper conductors terminated to No. 10 threaded studs or screw lugs in residential and commercial electrical enclosures, panels, and equipment terminals.
De-energize all circuits and verify absence of voltage before terminating any conductors. Use a ratcheting crimp tool with the correct 6 AWG die to achieve a full, gas-tight crimp — do not use pliers or non-ratcheting tools. Inspect the barrel after crimping to confirm full wire insertion before making the stud connection. Follow NEC requirements for conductor insulation, grounding, and terminal torque at the stud end per the equipment manufacturer's specifications.
