The VALUE COLLECTION R52001021 is a No. 12 self-drilling screw designed for metal-to-metal and metal-to-substrate fastening applications across HVAC, electrical, and general trade work. The screw features a hex washer head with a hex drive and a No. 3 drill point that cuts its own pilot hole, eliminating the need for pre-drilling in many light-gauge steel installations. Manufactured from grade 1016/1024 steel with a zinc-plated finish, it delivers reliable corrosion resistance in standard indoor applications. The length under head measures 4 inches. This screw is commonly used in light commercial and residential trade applications including HVAC ductwork assembly, electrical enclosure mounting, metal framing, and sheet metal fabrication.
