The VALUE COLLECTION QC-RHPR is a hose-to-hose quick connector pair designed for oxy-fuel gas supply lines. The pair includes one right-hand (RH) connector for oxygen service and one left-hand (LH) connector for fuel gas service, conforming to the industry-standard thread convention that prevents cross-connection. The 9/16 inch NPTF thread provides a pressure-tight, dryseal fit without the need for additional thread sealant. This connector set is a practical tool for welding, cutting, and brazing operations where hoses must be disconnected and reconnected frequently at the torch or regulator end.
The QC-RHPR pair is suited for oxy-acetylene and other oxy-fuel setups commonly found in fabrication shops, maintenance facilities, and field service environments. The quick-connect design reduces downtime when swapping torches or switching between fuel types. The RH oxygen side and LH fuel side are physically incompatible with each other, which enforces correct gas-line assembly on the job. This connector set is typically installed by welders, pipefitters, and maintenance technicians working with compressed gas distribution systems.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement connector pair for standard oxy-fuel hose assemblies using 9/16 inch NPTF fittings and 3/8 inch inside diameter hose.
Installation should be performed by a qualified welder, pipefitter, or gas-system technician familiar with compressed gas safety practices. Always purge and depressurize both the oxygen and fuel lines completely before disconnecting or reconnecting any fittings. Verify thread direction before assembly — right-hand thread on the oxygen side, left-hand thread on the fuel side — and do not use thread sealant on NPTF dryseal connections unless specified by the system manufacturer. After assembly, leak-test all connections with an approved gas-leak detection solution before returning the system to service.
