The VALUE COLLECTION PS-MH-HPC1-085 is a dry hydraulic pressure gauge rated from 0 to 15,000 psi, designed for high-pressure hydraulic system monitoring in industrial and trade applications. The gauge features a 1/4 NPTF connection for leak-resistant threading into hydraulic circuits and a 2.5-inch face diameter for clear dial readability in the field. The dry (liquid-free) construction makes it suited for environments where vibration is not excessive and a glycerin-filled gauge is not required. Hydraulic technicians and mechanical service pros use this gauge for system pressure checks, circuit diagnostics, and equipment commissioning.
This gauge is appropriate for use on high-pressure hydraulic systems, hydraulic power units, presses, lifts, and related equipment operating up to 15,000 psi. The 1/4 NPTF port provides a tapered thread connection compatible with standard hydraulic fittings. The compact 2.5-inch face fits in confined panel or inline mounting locations. Its dry internals keep the gauge lightweight and straightforward to install where vibration and pulsation levels are within acceptable limits for dry gauge service.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement or service gauge for high-pressure hydraulic systems equipped with a 1/4 NPTF gauge port rated to 15,000 psi or higher.
Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic or mechanical technician. Before installing or removing the gauge, depressurize and isolate the hydraulic circuit completely to prevent injury from high-pressure fluid release. Apply thread sealant appropriate for hydraulic service to the NPTF threads and hand-tighten before using a wrench — avoid overtightening, which can crack the gauge body or distort the socket. In high-vibration or high-pulsation applications, consider adding a snubber or pulsation dampener to extend gauge service life.
