The VALUE COLLECTION PC72GS-32 is a male swivel branch tee push-to-connect tube fitting designed for use in pneumatic and fluid transfer tubing systems. Machined from polyoxymethylene (POM), a high-strength acetal-based thermoplastic, this fitting accepts 3/16 inch outside diameter tubing and connects to a male NPT threaded port at 1/8 inch. The push-to-connect mechanism allows tubing to be inserted and locked without tools, reducing installation time on compressed air lines, instrumentation circuits, and low-pressure fluid systems. Rated at 150 psi working pressure, it suits light industrial and commercial service environments. Plumbers, pneumatic system technicians, and instrumentation trades are the typical installers.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial applications where a branch connection is needed off a main tubing run. It handles compressed air, water, and compatible low-pressure fluids in instrumentation panels, HVAC controls, pneumatic actuator circuits, and similar installations. The male swivel feature allows the NPT thread to be torqued into a port while the body rotates, making alignment in tight spaces straightforward. The 3/16 inch OD tube size is common in control tubing and small-bore pneumatic circuits.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service fitting for push-to-connect pneumatic and fluid tubing systems using 3/16 inch outside diameter tubing and 1/8 inch NPT threaded ports.
Installation is performed by pneumatic or instrumentation technicians and licensed plumbers depending on the application. Depressurize and de-energize the system completely before removing or installing any fitting. Thread the male NPT end into the port by hand first, then tighten with an appropriate wrench using thread sealant tape compliant with applicable codes. Insert tubing fully into the push-to-connect collet until it seats; verify retention by pulling back firmly on the tube before returning the system to pressure.
