The VALUE COLLECTION NPAB1 is a closed end twist-on wire connector rated for 300 volts and compatible with wire gauges from 22 AWG to 14 AWG. This connector type fully encapsulates the wire ends inside the cap, creating a secure, insulated termination point rather than leaving the wire tips exposed at the back of the connector. Electricians and HVAC technicians use closed end connectors when splicing wire in low-voltage control circuits, branch circuit wiring, and equipment harness repairs where a weatherproof or fully enclosed termination is preferred over a standard open-barrel twist connector. Each package contains 100 connectors.
This connector is suited for residential and light commercial electrical work, including control wiring in HVAC equipment, junction box splices, appliance wiring, and panel circuit repairs. The clear housing allows the installer to visually confirm that all conductor strands are fully seated before twisting. The 22-14 AWG range covers the most common wire sizes encountered in low-voltage thermostat wiring, line-voltage branch circuits, and equipment leads. Installation requires no additional tools beyond a standard pair of lineman pliers or by hand depending on wire count and gauge.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and general-use wire connector for residential and light commercial electrical splicing applications involving 22 AWG to 14 AWG conductors.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician or qualified HVAC technician in accordance with NEC requirements. Always de-energize the circuit and verify absence of voltage with a meter before making or breaking wire connections. Strip conductors to the recommended length for the connector size, insert all wire ends fully into the cap, and twist clockwise until the connector seats firmly with no bare copper visible. Do not exceed the listed wire gauge range, as oversized or undersized conductors will not achieve a reliable mechanical and electrical connection.
