The VALUE COLLECTION NFC5441 is a steel toggle bolt hollow wall anchor designed to provide secure fastening in drywall, plaster, wallboard, hollow tile, and concrete or masonry substrates. With a 3/8-inch diameter, a 4-inch overall length, and a 3/8-inch screw, this anchor delivers a maximum load capacity of 1,385 pounds. The zinc finish provides corrosion resistance for interior applications. Licensed tradespeople and experienced installers rely on this style of anchor when attaching fixtures, brackets, and equipment to hollow wall assemblies where traditional fasteners cannot grip solid material.
This toggle bolt anchor is suited for residential and light commercial installations involving hollow wall cavities. Typical applications include mounting electrical boxes, pipe hangers, strut supports, and mechanical equipment brackets to drywall and plaster walls. The anchor accepts a slotted or Phillips drive, making it compatible with standard hand and power tools already on the job site. It is appropriate for use in concrete and masonry, hollow tile, plaster, and wallboard assemblies.
Designed for use in hollow wall assemblies including drywall, wallboard, plaster, hollow tile, concrete, and masonry substrates where a 3/8-inch toggle bolt anchor is required.
Toggle bolt anchors are typically installed by electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and general contractors during fixture and bracket mounting tasks. Before installation, de-energize any circuits routed through the wall cavity and confirm no plumbing or conduit is present in the drill path. Drill a clearance hole sized to allow the folded toggle wings to pass through, insert the anchor, and tighten until the wings clamp firmly against the backside of the wall surface. Do not overtighten, as excessive torque can crush drywall or wallboard and reduce holding strength.
