The VALUE COLLECTION NFC5133 is a steel toggle bolt anchor designed for secure fastening in hollow wall and ceiling applications. It features a 3/16-inch diameter bolt with a 3-inch overall length and a slotted/Phillips drive for easy installation with standard hand tools. The zinc finish provides basic corrosion resistance. With a maximum load capacity of 430 pounds, this anchor is suited for heavy-duty hanging and mounting tasks in residential and commercial construction and maintenance work. Licensed tradespeople and experienced installers use toggle bolts when solid-substrate fastening is not possible and load distribution across a hollow wall surface is required.
This anchor is appropriate for use in wallboard, drywall, hollow tile, plaster, and concrete or masonry substrates. It is a common fastener choice for electricians mounting enclosures or conduit supports, plumbers securing pipe hangers, and general contractors attaching fixtures to interior partition walls. The zinc-finished steel construction suits both standard interior framing cavities and light commercial build-outs where hollow wall conditions are encountered regularly.
Designed for use in drywall, hollow tile, plaster, wallboard, and concrete or masonry substrates where toggle-style hollow wall anchoring is required.
Installation is performed by drilling a clearance hole sized to allow the folded toggle wings to pass through the wall material. Once inserted, the toggle wings spring open behind the wall surface and the bolt is tightened to clamp the anchor against the back face of the substrate. Power down any circuits in the work area before drilling near electrical panels or conduit runs, and follow applicable building codes for fastener load ratings when supporting mechanical or electrical components. Always verify the substrate type and wall thickness before selecting anchor length.
