The VALUE COLLECTION NFC5043 is a steel toggle bolt hollow wall anchor designed for secure fastening in drywall, plaster, hollow tile, wallboard, and masonry substrates. It accepts a 1/8-inch screw and has an overall length of 4 inches, providing deep engagement in thicker wall assemblies. The anchor carries a maximum load capacity of 310 pounds, making it suitable for hanging heavy fixtures, brackets, and equipment in demanding trade applications. A zinc-plated finish provides corrosion resistance in typical interior environments. Licensed electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and general contractors use toggle bolt anchors when a solid stud or backing is not accessible.
This anchor is appropriate for use in residential and light commercial construction where hollow wall conditions are common. Suitable substrates include drywall, wallboard, plaster, hollow tile, and concrete or masonry. The toggle bolt design spreads load across the back face of the wall cavity, distributing stress for a more secure hold than standard plastic expansion anchors. Typical applications include mounting electrical enclosures, pipe hangers, HVAC brackets, and other trade hardware to hollow wall surfaces.
Designed for use in drywall, plaster, hollow tile, wallboard, and concrete or masonry wall substrates where hollow wall fastening is required.
Installation should be performed by a qualified tradesperson familiar with hollow wall anchoring techniques. Drill the appropriate clearance hole diameter before inserting the toggle, and ensure the wall cavity is deep enough to allow the toggle wings to fully open behind the wall face. Do not overtighten the screw, as excess torque can pull the toggle through the wall material or crush drywall facing. Always verify the substrate and confirm load ratings are appropriate for the intended application before installation.
