The VALUE COLLECTION NFC2413M is a hammer drive concrete anchor designed for fast, tool-simple fastening into concrete, masonry, and block surfaces. The anchor features a nylon body with a zinc-plated finish and a mushroom head profile that seats flush against the work surface on installation. At 1/4 inch in diameter with a 1-1/2 inch overall length, this anchor is suited to light-duty attachment tasks where a pre-drilled 1/4 inch hole is required. A minimum embedment depth of 2-1/2 inches must be achieved for proper holding strength. Installers drive the pin with a hammer to expand the anchor body within the base material. Licensed trades and maintenance professionals use this fastener type for securing conduit straps, junction box brackets, small equipment mounts, and similar hardware to concrete substrates.
This anchor is appropriate for use in residential and commercial construction and maintenance applications where concrete, block, or masonry is the base material. Typical scenarios include securing electrical conduit supports, HVAC equipment mounting tabs, pool equipment brackets, and general mechanical room hardware to poured concrete or CMU walls and floors. The mushroom head provides a broad bearing surface that distributes load across the substrate face. A 1/4 inch drill bit is required to prepare the pilot hole before installation.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and general-use hammer drive anchor compatible with 1/4 inch pre-drilled holes in concrete, masonry, and concrete block substrates.
Installation is performed by drilling a 1/4 inch hole to the required depth, inserting the anchor, and driving the pin flush with a hammer. Ensure the minimum embedment depth of 2-1/2 inches is achieved before driving to prevent inadequate hold. Do not install into cracked, spalled, or deteriorated concrete, as base material integrity directly affects holding values. Follow applicable building codes and manufacturer load ratings when using anchors in structural or life-safety applications.
