The VALUE COLLECTION NFC2408M is a hammer drive concrete anchor designed for fast, tool-light fastening into concrete and masonry substrates. The anchor features a nylon body with a zinc-plated finish and a mushroom head profile that seats flush against the work surface on installation. At 0.25 inch diameter with a 1 inch overall length and a 2.25 inch minimum embedment requirement, this anchor is suited for light-duty fastening tasks where a clean, low-profile head is required. It is installed by drilling a 0.25 inch hole, inserting the anchor, and driving the pin with a hammer to expand the nylon body against the base material.
This anchor is appropriate for attaching conduit straps, wire clips, light brackets, and similar fixtures to poured concrete, concrete block, or brick in residential and light commercial settings. The hammer drive installation method requires no special setting tool, making it practical for electricians, plumbers, and general tradespeople who need a quick mechanical fastening point in masonry without access to a rotary hammer impact driver. The mushroom head provides a broad bearing surface that distributes load across the face of the material being fastened.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard supply anchor for light-duty hammer drive applications in poured concrete, concrete block, and brick substrates requiring a 0.25 inch diameter fastener.
Installation is performed by drilling a 0.25 inch diameter hole to the required embedment depth, clearing dust and debris from the hole, inserting the anchor, and driving the pin with a hammer until the mushroom head seats against the fixture. Power down or de-energize any nearby electrical circuits before drilling into concrete walls or ceilings. Follow applicable building codes and the fixture manufacturer's load requirements to confirm this anchor type and size is appropriate for the intended application. Do not exceed the load ratings for the substrate type and anchor embedment depth.
