The VALUE COLLECTION NFC2308M is a hammer drive concrete anchor designed for fast, tool-light fastening into concrete, masonry, and block substrates. The anchor features a nylon body with a zinc-plated finish and a mushroom head profile that seats flush against the material surface once driven. At 3/16 inches in diameter with a 1 inch overall length and a minimum embedment depth of 1-1/2 inches, this anchor suits light-duty anchoring tasks where speed of installation is a priority. It is installed by drilling a matching 3/16 inch hole, inserting the anchor, and driving the pin with a hammer to expand the nylon sleeve against the base material.
This anchor is used in residential and light commercial applications where fastening to poured concrete, concrete block, or similar hard substrates is required. Typical install scenarios include securing electrical conduit straps, junction box supports, HVAC equipment pads, plumbing hangers, and other low-load attachments to concrete surfaces. The mushroom head style provides a broad bearing surface that helps distribute load and prevent pull-through in the anchored material. Trade professionals including electricians, plumbers, and HVAC technicians commonly use this style of anchor for quick, single-tool installations in the field.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and general-use hammer drive anchor for light-duty fastening into concrete and masonry substrates requiring a 3/16 inch diameter anchor.
Installation is performed by drilling a 3/16 inch diameter hole to the required depth using a carbide-tipped masonry bit, then clearing debris from the hole before inserting the anchor. Drive the pin with a hammer until the mushroom head is seated against the work surface. Ensure embedment meets or exceeds the 1-1/2 inch minimum to achieve rated holding performance. Follow applicable building codes and structural requirements for the specific fastening application.
