The VALUE COLLECTION MT3290776 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal, composites, and hard plastics. With a 1/16 inch (0.0625 inch) cutting diameter and four right-hand spiral flutes at a 30-degree helix angle, this tool delivers clean, accurate cuts in tight geometries. The bright/uncoated finish and submicron carbide grade provide a sharp cutting edge suitable for fine detail work. Centercutting capability allows direct plunging into the workpiece without a pre-drilled entry point. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals use this end mill for contouring, slotting, and profiling applications where small-diameter precision is required.
This end mill is suited for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills where small-diameter tooling is needed. The 1/8 inch shank diameter fits standard collets and end mill holders common in light-duty and precision machining setups. With a 3/16 inch length of cut and a 1-1/2 inch overall length, it is well-suited for shallow slot milling, edge profiling, and fine detail work on small workpiece features. Right-hand cutting direction is standard for conventional and climb milling on most vertical machining centers.
Designed as a standard-style solid carbide square end mill compatible with CNC machining centers and manual milling machines equipped with collets or end mill holders accepting a 1/8 inch shank diameter.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist familiar with toolholder torque requirements and runout specifications for small-diameter end mills. Ensure the machine spindle and collet are clean and free of debris before seating the shank. Secure the tool to the recommended minimum shank insertion depth per the toolholder manufacturer guidelines to prevent deflection or pullout. Verify spindle speed and feed rate settings are appropriate for a 1/16 inch carbide tool before engaging the cut.
