The VALUE COLLECTION MSRNYD1-3753 is a partially insulated, D-shaped ring terminal designed for crimp-style wire terminations on copper conductors. It accepts wire gauges from 22 to 16 AWG (0.50 to 1.50 square millimeters) and fits stud sizes 6, 8, and 10 (3.70 to 5.30 millimeters). The copper contact and nylon insulation sleeve deliver reliable conductivity with mechanical protection at the barrel. The terminal measures 0.996 inches in overall length and 0.339 inches in ring width. Electricians and panel technicians use this terminal to create secure, vibration-resistant connections on control wiring, instrumentation leads, and low-voltage circuit terminations.
This ring terminal is suited for residential and light commercial electrical work, control panel assembly, and field wiring repairs where a secure stud-mounted connection is required. The D-shaped ring profile prevents rotation on the stud, keeping the terminal seated under vibration or movement. The red color coding identifies compatibility with the 22 to 16 AWG wire range, following standard terminal color conventions used across the trade. It is commonly installed on terminal blocks, ground lugs, and equipment studs in HVAC control panels, electrical enclosures, and motor control centers.
Designed for use with 22 to 16 AWG copper conductors on stud sizes 6, 8, and 10. Suitable for standard crimp termination applications on terminal blocks, equipment grounding studs, and control panel wiring points where a D-shaped ring lug is specified.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians or qualified technicians following NEC requirements for the application. De-energize the circuit completely before terminating or removing ring terminals. Use a calibrated ratcheting crimper rated for the wire gauge range to achieve a consistent, gas-tight crimp. Do not solder over a crimped connection, as this can create a stress point and compromise the joint under thermal cycling.
