The VALUE COLLECTION MSFXX12075-025BX is a metric flat head slotted machine screw manufactured from Grade 316 stainless steel with a bright, uncoated finish. It carries an M12x1.75 thread size and a 75 mm overall length. Grade 316 stainless steel, also designated A4 per DIN standards, provides superior corrosion resistance compared to Grade 304, making it well suited for wet, marine, or chemically aggressive environments. The flat head profile seats flush with or below the mating surface when countersunk, producing a clean finished appearance. This fastener conforms to DIN 963 dimensional standards and is driven with a standard flat-blade slotted driver or bit.
This screw is used across a wide range of trade and industrial applications where a flush-mount, corrosion-resistant fastener is required. Typical installations include HVAC equipment enclosures, plumbing fixture mounting, electrical panel work, pool and spa equipment assemblies, and general marine or outdoor structural applications where exposure to moisture or chemicals demands a higher-alloy fastener. The slotted drive is compatible with standard hand drivers and power drivers equipped with a flat-blade bit. No washer is included or required under the head for standard countersunk installations.
Designed as a DIN 963 standard metric flat head slotted machine screw suitable for use in any application requiring an M12x1.75 thread pitch countersunk fastener in Grade 316 stainless steel.
Installation is performed by a mechanic, equipment technician, or qualified tradesperson using a flat-blade screwdriver or power driver bit sized to the slotted head. Ensure the receiving material is tapped or fitted with an M12x1.75 nut or insert before driving. A proper countersink angle must be prepared in the mating material to achieve a flush seating surface. Do not overtighten, as stainless steel fasteners are susceptible to galling; apply an appropriate anti-seize compound when torquing into stainless or aluminum mating parts.
