The VALUE COLLECTION MSC-72047632 is a 1/2-13 UNC hex nut manufactured from A563 Grade DH steel with a hot-dipped galvanized finish. Grade DH designates a heavy hex nut meeting ASTM A563 mechanical requirements for proof load and hardness, making it suitable for structural and high-strength bolted connections. The hot-dipped galvanized coating provides corrosion resistance in outdoor, wet, or chemically active environments. The nut features right-hand threading and measures 7/8 inch across the flats with a height of 31/64 inch. Plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians, and general contractors use this fastener when assembling structural connections that require a corrosion-resistant, high-strength nut conforming to ASTM standards.

Inspect threads for damage or contamination before assembly. Do not use impact tools at excessive speed, as this can strip the galvanized coating or damage the thread form.
