The VALUE COLLECTION MKCS10C1009MBPKG is a partially threaded socket cap screw with an M10x1.5 thread size and a 100 mm length under head. Manufactured from grade 12.9 alloy steel, this fastener delivers high tensile strength suited for demanding mechanical assemblies. The zinc-blue trivalent chromate finish provides corrosion resistance while meeting RoHS and REACH compliance requirements. The hex drive requires an 8 mm hex key for installation. This screw ships in a package of five and follows the DIN 912 and ISO 4762 fastener standards. It is appropriate for use in structural, mechanical, and industrial applications where a high-strength socket cap screw is required.
This socket cap screw is suited for use in mechanical assemblies, machine tooling, industrial equipment, and structural fixturing where a partially threaded, high-strength M10 fastener is needed. The coarse thread pitch (1.5 mm) and right-hand thread direction make it compatible with standard M10 threaded holes in steel, aluminum, and other common engineering materials. Partial threading allows for clearance-hole clamping applications, pulling mating parts firmly together without threading into the clearance bore. Each pack contains five screws, making it practical for small repair jobs and production line replenishment alike.
Designed as a standard DIN 912 and ISO 4762 compliant M10x1.5 socket cap screw suitable for use in any application requiring a partially threaded grade 12.9 M10 fastener.
Installation should be performed by a qualified mechanic or technician familiar with metric fastener specifications and appropriate torque procedures for grade 12.9 hardware. Ensure the mating threaded hole is clean and free of debris before driving the screw. Use a correctly sized 8 mm hex key or socket-drive hex bit to avoid rounding the drive recess. Do not mix metric and imperial hardware in the same assembly.
