Manufactured from steel to material grade 4.8 and finished with a zinc coating for basic corrosion resistance, this screw conforms to DIN 965 standards. This screw is appropriate for use in light mechanical assemblies, electronic enclosures, HVAC equipment panels, and other applications requiring a low-profile countersunk fastener. The flat head sits flush with or below the mating surface when installed in a properly chamfered hole, making it well-suited for panels, brackets, and components where a protruding head would interfere with clearance or fit. It is supplied individually but is subject to a minimum order quantity of 100 pieces per order.

Installation is performed with a Phillips screwdriver or a Phillips bit in a hand drill or power driver. The mating hole should be properly chamfered to accept the flat head countersink angle specified by DIN 965. Avoid over-torquing, as grade 4.8 steel has moderate tensile strength and small-diameter screws are susceptible to thread stripping or head cam-out under excessive force. Ensure threads in the receiving material are clean and free of debris before driving.
