The VALUE COLLECTION LWIS0871USA-050BX is a 7/8 inch screw-size split lock washer manufactured from Grade 2 spring steel with a zinc yellow dichromate finish. Split lock washers apply a spring-loaded clamping force under fastener heads to resist loosening caused by vibration and dynamic loads. The zinc yellow dichromate coating provides corrosion resistance in general industrial and mechanical service environments. This washer measures 0.878 inches minimum inside diameter, up to 0.894 inches maximum inside diameter, 1.459 inches maximum outside diameter, and 0.219 inches thick. It is used by maintenance technicians, millwrights, electricians, plumbers, and HVAC mechanics wherever standard 7/8 inch fasteners require vibration-resistant clamping.
This split lock washer is suited for general-purpose mechanical assembly and maintenance applications across residential, commercial, and light industrial settings. Typical uses include equipment mounting, pipe hanger hardware, electrical panel work, HVAC unit fastening, and structural framing connections where a 7/8 inch bolt or cap screw is used. The inch-system sizing and standard Grade 2 material make it compatible with common off-the-shelf 7/8 inch fasteners found throughout trade work. This item is sold in a minimum order quantity of 50 pieces per order.
Designed as a standard replacement or stock split lock washer for use with 7/8 inch screw-size fasteners in general mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC assembly applications.
Split lock washers are installed between the fastener head or nut and the mating surface before the fastener is driven to final torque. Power down or de-energize any equipment before performing fastener work on live assemblies. Use hand tools or calibrated torque equipment appropriate for the fastener grade and application — do not over-torque, as this can flatten the washer and eliminate its locking action. Follow applicable codes such as NEC, IFGC, or IPC where fastener specifications are governed by installation standards.
