The VALUE COLLECTION LW7XX01600-050BX is a metric split lock washer designed for M16 fastener applications requiring vibration resistance and secure clamping. Manufactured from 316 austenitic stainless steel to Grade A4 standards, this washer delivers excellent corrosion resistance in wet, marine, and chemically exposed environments. The uncoated bright finish maintains dimensional precision, with a minimum inside diameter of 16.2 mm and a maximum outside diameter of 27.4 mm. At 3.5 mm thick, the helical split profile bites into mating surfaces to resist loosening under dynamic loads. Plumbers, marine electricians, HVAC installers, and general mechanical contractors use these washers in corrosive-environment fastener assemblies.
This washer is suited for M16 bolts and screws in metric fastener assemblies across residential, commercial, and industrial applications. Typical use cases include stainless fastener stacks in coastal or outdoor HVAC equipment mounting, marine hardware, food-processing environments, and any installation where standard carbon steel hardware is prone to rust or galvanic corrosion. The 316 alloy is particularly appropriate where chloride exposure is a concern. Sold in a minimum order quantity of 50 units, making it practical for job-lot stocking.
Designed for use with M16 metric screws and bolts. Conforms to DIN 127B, making it interchangeable with other DIN 127B-compliant metric split lock washers in M16 sizing.
Install between the nut or bolt head and the mating surface with the split ends oriented to bite into both surfaces as the fastener is torqued. Power down or de-energize any associated equipment before working on fastened assemblies in electrical or HVAC applications. Use stainless steel or compatible non-ferrous fasteners to avoid galvanic corrosion when pairing with 316 SS hardware. Do not mix with carbon steel fasteners in marine or wet environments.
